Kyiv markets

Hi all, quick question - I’ll be in Kyiv soon and was thinking about checking out some local markets or fairs. Are they actually interesting or more like typical tourist spots? Looking for something with a real local feel, maybe food or handmade stuff.

From what I understood, there are both classic food markets and more casual street fairs. Some places focus on fresh local products, others on crafts and seasonal events. It doesn’t feel overly touristy - more like everyday city life mixed with a bit of culture, so probably worth checking out if you want a local experience.
